It was manufactured in 1936 yb the thatcher manufacturing company whose headquarters was at elmira, n. Y.
My maker information source is glass milk bottles their makers and marks (1980) by jeffrey l. Giarde. The milk bottle is labeled on one side in black pyro as followsk in kansas is in a flag supported by a pole kansas state college dairy the milk bottle is labeled on the other side in black pyro as follows high quality milk from our own herd the white inside the mlik bottle is styrofoam beads which enhance display but could be removed by winning bidder without damage to the bottle. The styrofoam was in the bottle when i acquired it and has not been removed. There is a large bruise on the back side heel roll which doesn't show up in the photo. While the bruise is hard to see, particularly with styrofoam in the milk bottle, it is about 1.5 inches long in an arc shape but it has not cracked the surface of the milk bottle. With the exception of the reverse side heel roll bruise, the milk bottle is in good condition with no other chips or cracks and only light case/use wear.
